Music; Neko's Room

Neko’s Room’ is a collaborative project between sound designer Jack Irving, pianist Bel Maude and guitarist Toby Catt, featuring a repertoire of music entirely written, produced and performed by the members of this trio. Originating as a weekly after-work jam night, ‘Neko’s Room’ invites the audience to experience the unique and vulnerable energy created when three friends get together to make music - simply ‘cause it’s fun. The project combines original songwriting, live-looping and improvisation, exploring themes of love, family, grief, & coming of age through dreamy and colourful soundscapes. It marks the first live collaboration between the three musicians - and certainly not the last.
