About the Event

We want to start a Revolution.

In the way we think and shout out words. In the way we do poetry nights.

A Revolution for our minds. A Revolution and a challenge.

What's on your heart? Have you got something to say?

The Wordmakers want to hear words, rants, musings and manifestos, and all manners of Oscar-Wildeing with flamboyance of the theme of Revolution. Take this theme, shake it upside down and come ready to perform in our no sign up open mic: The now infamous You Ain’t My Mum open mic

Our headline guest is Antosh Wojcik.

Antosh Wojcik is a poet, drummer and cross-disciplinary artist. He produces music as /weirdtoday and is a member of the collective FWRDMTN. His drumming and spoken word show, 'How To Keep Time: A Drum Solo for Dementia', was produced by Penned in the Margins and toured internationally in 2019, with support from Arts Council England. His poetry has been published by bath magg & Anthropocene Poetry, as well as anthologies by Bad Betty, Prototype and Colliding Lines.

His work explores memory, time & glitches.
